Saint Xavier University provides numerous computer labs and smart classrooms for the SXU community use. Saint Xavier University's computer labs are available for current faculty, students, staff and alumni.
Lab Policies
- A valid Saint Xavier netID and password is required.
- No food or drinks are allowed in any of the computer labs.
- Users should not tamper with computer settings and software or shut down/power off computers. All computer software and hardware problems should be reported to the Client Services by visiting hub.sxu.edu or calling 773-298-HELP (4357).
Printing
Printers are available most in all of the computer labs. The default setting for lab and library printing is duplex.
Reservations
Lab reservations must be made by faculty one week prior to the requested date using the events calendar.
Security
The University strongly recommends that you take steps to secure your information when using your workstation by following best practices, including: making strong passwords, taking care when opening attachments and e-mails, and being cautious with personal information.
