Cougar Card: ID card

Service Description:

Your student, faculty or staff ID card is known as a Cougar Card. The Cougar Card provides basic identification, regulates campus building access and can be used to add funds, allowing you to swipe for certain University services, including: dining and printing.  Please complete these two tasks to acquire a Cougar Card.

1.  Submit your photo by following the RemotePhoto link instructions below.
2. You must submit a request for your Cougar Card (ID) by clicking "Request Assistance" on this page.

Follow the below instructions to submit a photo ID.

  1. Log into the mySXU portal.
  2. Find the Helpful Links Card
  3. Expand Student Applications
  4. Click ID Photo Submission (you will be taken to the remote photo upload page)

Request Assistance will take you to a login page, use your netID (Username)  and password to login.  You will be able to:

• Request a new ID or replacement ID
• Report various ID Issues
